Guilty Pleasures

In 8 Ways to Recharge When You Feel Drained, I mentioned that indulging in a guilty pleasure can help you feel refreshed. This made me start thinking about my personal guilty pleasures. A guilty pleasure is something that a person loves despite feeling guilty or ashamed about it. We all have those things that we enjoy that we don't openly admit. I had a lot of fun making this list. I also learned that I have very little self-control.

Dance videos

I accidentally spend hours watching videos of people dancing (mostly on YouTube). I'm so amazed by people that can dance really well because I cannot. It's such a special talent. I'm always blown away by the dancer kids. It always feels so weird watching random strangers dancing on the internet.

 Raw cookie dough

Every time I buy cookie dough, I eat most of it raw.  It's so addictive. Once I start, I can't stop. I've been told that eating it can make me sick. But I've been indulging in raw cookie for many, many years and have not gotten sick yet.

NBA beef

I love the NBA for so many reasons. Besides the crazy amount of talent in the league right now, we get a lot of drama from the players. The NBA is my favorite soap opera. I don't get too invested in celebrity drama, but I am always here for NBA beef.

Cheesy high school dramas

I have binge-watched a lot of shows on Netflix and Hulu over the years. There are shows that I watch that I talk about with others. There are also shows that I do not let it be known that I am watching. Some of these series are Glee, One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, The O.C., and Pretty Little Liars.

Taco bell

I don't eat fast food. But every now and then I crave a couple greasy, soft tacos and a steak quesadilla from Taco Bell. I'm always ashamed of myself after I eat it. So I throw all the evidence away so nobody finds out!

This is another one that I sometimes have to hide. I go on benders where I will get a milkshake almost everyday. I consider myself a milkshake connoisseur. Chick-Fil-A has the best shakes, by the way.

Breakfast Club interviews

I can never watch one interview. I always watch them on YouTube, which is a mistake. Because there's always another video in the list below that I absolutely have to watch. Next thing I know, three hours have gone by. I also do this with Desus & Mero interviews. I spend too much time on YouTube.
